Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and Jab Technologies, Inc. (“Jab,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) governing your use of jab.today and our demand-letter drafting and mailing service (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Acceptance of these Terms

By accessing or using the Service, placing an order, or clicking to accept, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. What the Service is

Jab is a self-help document preparation and mailing service. You answer plain-English questions about your dispute; we use software (including AI) to generate a demand letter based on the information you provide; the letter is reviewed for general quality; and we print and send it via USPS Certified Mail to the recipient you designate. The Service currently supports disputes such as security deposits, HOA fines, wage claims, debt-collector conduct, moving-company damage, and credit-report errors.

3. Not a law firm; no legal advice

Jab is not a law firm, and our employees and contractors are not acting as your attorneys. The Service does not constitute legal advice, legal representation, or an attorney–client relationship. Any attorney review is for general document quality and is not personalized legal advice about the merits of your matter. Laws vary by jurisdiction and change over time. You are responsible for determining whether a demand letter is appropriate for your situation, and you should consult a licensed attorney for advice specific to you. We do not guarantee any result, including that a recipient will respond, pay, or comply.

4. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and a U.S. resident to use the Service, and you may use it only for your own dispute or one you are legally authorized to pursue. You agree that all information you provide is your own or that you are authorized to submit it.

5. Your responsibilities

• Provide accurate, complete, and truthful information. The quality of your letter depends on what you submit, and we rely on it without independent verification.
• Ensure the recipient’s name and address are correct; we are not responsible for delivery failures caused by incorrect details you provide.
• Use the Service only for lawful purposes and not to harass, defraud, threaten, or make false claims.
• You are solely responsible for the content and the claims made in your letter.

6. Fees & payment

The Service is offered for a flat fee of $29 per letter (unless otherwise stated at checkout). Payment is processed securely by Stripe. By submitting payment, you authorize the charge for the order you place. Prices may change prospectively, but the price shown at checkout applies to your order.

7. Refund policy

If we do not mail your letter, you are entitled to a full refund. Because the Service is fulfilled once your letter is printed and handed to USPS for Certified Mail delivery, orders are generally non-refundable after the letter has been mailed. 8. Prohibited uses

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Send content that is false, fraudulent, defamatory, harassing, threatening, or unlawful;
• Violate any person’s rights or any applicable law or regulation;
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your authority to send a letter;
• Interfere with, disrupt, scrape, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service; or
• Use the Service for any purpose other than your own genuine dispute.

We may refuse, suspend, or cancel any order or account that we believe violates these Terms.

9. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, text, and branding, is owned by Jab and protected by law. You retain ownership of the information and content you submit, and you grant us a limited license to use it solely to provide the Service to you (drafting, reviewing, printing, and mailing your letter).

10. Third-party services

The Service relies on third parties (for example, payment, mailing, hosting, and AI providers). Your use of the Service is also subject to those providers’ terms where applicable. We are not responsible for the acts or omissions of third parties, including USPS delivery timelines once a letter is in their possession.

11. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE, THAT A LETTER WILL ACHIEVE ANY PARTICULAR RESULT, OR THAT ANY DRAFTED CONTENT IS LEGALLY SUFFICIENT FOR YOUR SITUATION.

12. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, JAB AND ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR DATA, ARISING FROM OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US FOR THE ORDER GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Jab from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of your content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

14. Governing law & dispute resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be resolved through binding individual arbitration on a non-class basis, except that either party may bring a claim in small-claims court where eligible. You and Jab waive any right to a jury trial and to participate in a class action, to the extent permitted by law.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
